Don't buy a kangaroo security camera. No only would it not set up but the plug in chime got very hot and I had to unplug it. I received an email that someone would call me but so far ni phone call or anymore emails after I said chime got hot.
I received a kangaroo door camera and it will not activate. I have called and no call back.
I have emailed many times and the help they email me does not work. It comes with a plug in chime and now that is hot when plugged in.
I sent an email asking if this is normal and no reply. I really would like to set my camera up after having it for months.do

In 3 days no response. Called during regular hours and all I get is" Sorry you missed us please leave messages, and we will contact you asap".

The person that helped me was nice but said I had a broken camera. Duh!
He said I had to mail it back to where I bought it and I dont have a vlue who thst was so Iam just screwed!
I guess Ill get another one but Ill get a better brand for sure. Not happy!

Managed To Troubleshoot Problem.
Friday 21st April 2023 Camera Doorbell failed to upload pictures. Called Kangaroo Customer Service.
They confirmed there was a glitch and they were fixing it. For three days it was fine. 25th April 2023 same happened again. Advisor guided me to reconnect it to my phone, which worked.
Overall good. I am now considering buying another Video Camera Doorbell.
